Job Summary:

The Enrolment unit of the Office of the Registrar invites applications for a Coordinator, Enrolment and Fees. This is a temporary, full-time position.

The Coordinator works closely with the Manager to support the successful day to day operations for the Enrolment unit. This position monitors, assesses and supports operational workflow and staff, to support established departmental goals and contributes to the renewal and creation of departmental processes, guidelines, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Two (2) year post-secondary diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum three (3) years related experience, preferably in a post-secondary registration and records environment.
  • Knowledge of BC and Canadian post-secondary education systems, governance, and policies.
  • Experience working with student records systems, large scale databases, reporting tools, and other student facing systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with data-based decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate, and develop staff.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, with attention to detail.
  • Advanced level computer skills in MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience dealing with the public on issues of a sensitive nature.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team and as a team leader.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to be proactive in finding solutions.
  • Must hold a valid BC Drivers License and own (or have access to) a vehicle (Inter campus travel may be required).
